I forgot to say, 'blink and you'll miss me' as when I said 1m 12s I didn't mean that's when you first see me, that's when you ONLY see me. Here's some screen grabs so you know what to look for, and also a shot of Vicente, my friend I made on the day.
Over on a Madonna forum they've been discussing which 'Celebration' video people like best - the first version with the professional dancers, or the second version with us fans, so I added my two cents:
"I have to say that I'm a little disappointed with the fan version and the footage that was chosen, not just for me, but for others too. I'm not sure but I think most of the footage was from the Milan shoot, rather than our day in Barcelona. A few from our day have been used really well - like the first guy running in, and the punky guy in the pink trousers at the slow bit of the song, but feel that most of the rest of us have been underused.
I'm a bit too much of a mid 80s era Madonna fan still but I loved seeing others dressed more recent like the girl on our day who was dressed Che / American Life style, yet I think her only appearance was hidden as they chose a clip where she was holding up a sign. And the guy who was in the teaser with the braces was good too but I don't think he appears that much more. Etc etc.
I guess people being a bit more brash and in your face go with the beat of the song more, whereas I did a handful of moves from the Virgin Tour days, which went down well on the day, but only one second clip was used.
The main change I would have made is I wouldn't have included the Madonna dancers footage, as that was used enough in version 1, and would have left more time for the rest of us.
My main regret is that I let them put me in an awful wig - like no Madonna hair ever! I looked better when I turned up in my DSS Susan style with my own badly dyed messy hair, complete with roots. lol
Anyway, I'm still pleased to be in it at all! :-) Aside from being involved in anything Madonna, it's especially fantastic to be in something as historical and right now as a major step in to the limelight for Lourdes, and a tribute to Michael Jackson too. :-)"
